Items Needed to Begin
1. Deposit
We require a 50% deposit to kick off your project. This deposit will be sent to you or your account manager via email. If you want to pay while uploading your deliverables, you can do so on the last step.
2. Images & Video
High-quality images with a minimum of 1024px for the smaller side. For video, we’ll encode as needed, but please deliver the best available quality.
Please keep in mind that the image count you’ll need will depend on your sitemap. Home, About, Blog Posts, Gallery, etc.
Professional photography is great and usually recommended. If you’re keeping to a budget, we like Unsplash and Pexels for stock photography.
3. Website Content
In a DOC/DOCX, Pages or TXT document, please provide content for the following below. Some of the pages are example pages for projects we’ve built and may not apply to your design:
HOME
- 1-5 images at least 940px X 440px for the home page rotator. At least have 1 image for now. This may need to be created, if so, send image ideas.
- 1 “Mission Statement” or a definite statement describing your company, what you do, and the area you service.
- 2-4 bullet point items with an image listing the services offered by your company.
ABOUT/WHO WE ARE
- 2-3 paragraphs detailing your company.
- Professional photographs and company member details, and profile descriptions.
- Hours of operation if you intend to keep an office.
SERVICES
- Detailed list description and potentially images for each product/service offered.
ECOMMERCE (if applicable)
Depending on the storefront complexity, additional items may be needed. To start, the product basics are below:
- Product titles
- Product SKUs
- Images
- Descriptions
- Variations
- Shipping Methods
- Product Prices
PORTFOLIO
- Images, descriptions, and URLs of projects you have recently worked on, along with projects that are currently in production.
TESTIMONIALS
- 3-5 testimonials from clients you have worked with. LinkedIn is a great source for content. Or if you have, and we recommend you do, a Google Business Page, we can include TrustIndex to automatically pull reviews. Additionally, their inexpensive paid plan can pull from a variety of other sources.
BLOG
- Images at least 625px X 350px for each blog post.
- 3-5 blog posts with detailed information concerning industry or company updates.
CONTACT US
- Form fields for the user to fill out and submit.
- Company contact details relevant for the page
4. Social & Administrative Accounts
Other items we might need to properly set up your project and have email delivered properly are:
- Domain Access, Credentials, or contact info to the Domain Manager
- Social Media URLs
- A dedicated email account for website form sending
- Existing Google Analytics Access
- If no account exists, we’ll create an account and have it started with the email address provided.
Please do NOT send credentials by the form or email. There are ways to delegate access to accounts without sharing confidential data.
